My name is Maggie Ball and I am the full time art teacher here at Cogburn Woods. This is my first year at CWES and my sixth year teaching art in Fulton County.
I graduated from North Georgia College and State University in Dahlonega with my degree in Art Education.
I was born in Pennsylvania but moved to Alpharetta with my family the summer before I started 4th grade. I actually attended Dolvin Elementary, Taylor Road Middle and Chattahoochee High all in this area!
When I'm not teaching I enjoy spending time outside, doing activities such as; hiking, running, biking and playing with my dog. I also like to sew, paint and decorate my house!
This is my dog Tussle.
I adopted him when he was only four months old from a local German Shepherd rescue group. He is super smart and very silly.
I love doing all kinds of artwork! Painting Murals, painting on glass, sewing, drawing and even building things. These are just a few pictures of some of the things I've done in the last few years.
